On October 19th, 2022 the Union was notified, unofficially, that they would stop using the 2 remaining FSS machines on January 21st, 2023. The machines will be removed starting in March of 2023. Management intends to abolish all remaining FSS positions after January 21st, 2023. Any employee that is holding a FSS position will be made an unassigned regular. There will be three bid postings prior to the abolishment of the positions.
